Welcome Drink and Welcome Banquet
There will be a Welcome Drink held at the pond next to the physics building on the first evening, Wednesday, July, 25. The conference desk will be open for registration during this time.
A Welcome Banquet will take place on the evening of Thursday, July, 26 in "Badische Weinstube".
Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will take place on Tuesday, July, 31 in Karlsruhe Majolika, a historical ceramics manufacture with a museum that features exhibitions with around 1000 selected samples from the beginning in 1901 (the time of the grand duke of "Baden") up to now ("Staatliche Majolika-Manufaktur Karlsruhe").
How to get there Positioned just north of the castle's garden it is a ten minute walk from the castle in northwestern direction. The blue beam ("Blauer Strahl") is the longest ceramics artwork in the world and guides you from the castle Karlsruhe Majolika. By car: From Willy-Brandt-Allee turn into Ahaweg until you reach the parking lot.
On Sunday, July, 29 there will be a choice of four organized excursions to Heidelberg and Speyer, Strasbourg and Northern Alsace, Rhineland-Palatinate and Suedliche Weinstrasse as well as Baden-Baden and the Black Forest on
Sunday 29th July.
During the registration procedure you will be asked to provide us with your preferred choice.
